This modified form of the G-hormone that releases hormone 1-29, known as Sermorelin, has a molecular mass of 3357.96, and a chemical formula of C149H246N44O42S. It contains 29 amino acids.
Sermorelin has been a topic of study by scientist for years, beginning in 1980 when it was being tested as an anti-aging tool. Various peptides, including this one, were being considered to determine which part was needed to stimulate the pituitary gland. Single amino acids were eliminated, and later it was discovered that only the 29 acid chain was tasked with pituitary stimulation. In 1999 other researchers considered Sermorelin GH to be a method for the deficiency of the G-hormone.
