HEX, or Hexarelin, is a hormone peptide containing a short chain that is formed from six amino acids. The structure is similar to regulatory proteins that help to release G-hormones. The molecular formula is C47H58N12O6, and the weight is 877.05.
In the early 1990s scientists conducting studies on various peptides were led to the discovery of hexarelin by switching out one of the amino acids in the structure of the protein for a more stable version. Another study, taking place in 1995, observed the reaction of the peptide on the pituitary gland and the hypothalamus. There are currently a few ongoing studies as well.
Research is looking into hexarelin's ability to stimulate glands to release growth hormone. The peptide may contain some neuroprotective qualities as well as having a role in the healing process.
Due to the fact that the total influence on the physiologic system and influence is still under investigation, Hexarelin is manufactured for research use only and is not for human consumption.
